Friend,

We thought he hit rock bottom when he tried selling steaks in a mall gadget store. But no, he has an even more shameless business idea. As far as his latest grifts go, it’s worse than the “golden” shoes, the stinky cologne, or the NFTs.

As of yesterday, Donald J. Trump, the same man who is currently in court over cheating on his wife with an adult film star and then paying her off, has started selling branded Bibles.

This clearly means two things:

1. Trump’s desperate and needs cash any way he can get it.

2. He has literally zero respect for the vast majority of his Evangelical base (and is just using them as an ATM.)

Nonetheless, Trump claims his goal here is to “make America pray again”. We guess that explains why he’s charging the low price of $59.99 per Bible, plus shipping. Could this plan be any easier to figure out? Is it possible that people don’t see right through this? The answer is yes. His most faithful supporters don’t see this as an obvious grift aimed at paying off his massive debt to the state of New York.

Remember how George Santos accused the GOP of “standing for nothing and falling for everything?” We know this isn’t what he meant – but this is exactly what it is.

If this guy is willing to monetize God, he won’t think twice about monetizing this country. He’ll come in, pardon himself and his insurrectionist buddies, see what the government can do for his failing businesses, and then sell off what’s left of America for parts.

Trump has no shame. He doesn’t care about anything besides money. Not people, not religion, and certainly not America’s future. He’s a snake oil salesman, a charlatan, and a hack.

We can’t risk him turning this country into another one of his failed ventures. Help us make sure American democracy isn’t the target of his next get rich quick scheme>>
