When I first decided to run for Congress, I was told a woman couldn't win this Congressional seat.

Spoiler alert: They were wrong.

Not only were they wrong once — they were wrong three times! After we won in 2018, flipping this district from red to blue for the first time in decades — we kept going and overcame a flood of GOP attack ads and outside spending, and won re-election twice in a row.

Folks, we have the chance to make history again this November and continue the fight for women’s reproductive rights, affordable child care, and common-sense leadership in Washington — but it has to be a team effort, just like it always has been.
