Intervention Paramedic at
SAMU Metropolitan
“My name is Carlos Vera, I am a Nursing Technician and Paramedic. Since 2014, I have done work promoting the hemorrhage control course in all areas, prehospital, Civil, Tactical, First Responders and Immediate Responders. I promoted the Ambassadors campaign, as well as the correct initiation and registration for instructors to this great campaign. My love for this campaign was born from my work as a Volunteer of the Chilean Red Cross and a Volunteer of Firefighters of Chile, joining when I was 11 years old! I currently work as an Intervention Paramedic at SAMU METROPOLITAN, the public ambulance service of my country, as well as an instructor for various international emergency and emergency teaching organizations. I give free courses to the community in order to contribute to the mitigation of the risk of potential emergencies of uncontrolled bleeding. My work is concentrated more in Chile and Mexico, where we are currently carrying out First Aid campaigns and Bleeding Control Kits.”
