I’m not usually one to brag, but I’ll talk all day about just how lucky I am to count Kirsten Gillibrand as one of my closest friends in the Senate.

Kirsten is 100% the real deal.

She’s fighting for progress on the issues that matter to families. She’s running an authentically grassroots campaign. She refuses to accept money from corporate PACs. She’ll outwork just about anybody. And she’s one of the most kind and caring people in Washington. (Trust me on this one — she even learned to cook vegan for me!)

With so much extremism in Washington, we need people like Kirsten, who lead with love, approach problems with compassion, and hold a deep respect for public service.

But Kirsten is up against some powerful forces this year. New York Republicans are riding a red wave from 2022 — and they’ve got their sights set on Kirsten’s seat. I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that Kirsten wins another term in the Senate so she can keep fighting for families like yours. That’s why I’m personally asking: Please, will you donate $5 or more before midnight tonight to help my friend hit her critical $100,000 end-of-quarter goal so she can compete with GOP megadonors and defend our Senate majority?
