As a veteran and military wife, we need to have a talk about the state of our warfighting machine.

The U.S. military has long been the most powerful fighting force in the history of the world.

But the way things are going, I’m worried those days will soon be behind us if something isn’t changed soon.

These days, our military brass seems more concerned with fighting culture wars than real wars – in fact, they’re putting our soldiers in harm’s way to be “sensitive” to the needs of terrorists!

And the American people are noticing.

So is it any wonder that young Americans are having second thoughts about military service?

Don’t get me wrong, serving in the military was one of the greatest honors of my life. I don’t regret it for a second, and I know Sam would say the same.

But looking at the military today, we’re concerned about our children following in our footsteps.

Friend, my husband Sam is running for the U.S. Senate to restore our military to the glory I know it’s capable of.

And under Sam’s leadership, I’m sure our military can be something our children would be proud to join by the time they’re old enough.
