96  When I took on the job as Georgia’s Insurance and Safety Fire
Commissioner, I promised to put consumers first, hold the powerful
accountable, and change the culture of Georgia’s insurance industry.

That’s exactly what we’ve done.

—> We’ve recovered more than $50 million for Georgia taxpayers.

—> We’ve leveled the largest fine against a major insurance provider in
Georgia history.

—> We’ve closed the loophole in Georgia law that let auto insurance
providers raise rates with no oversight.

—> We’ve arrested and charged hundreds of fraudsters.

—> And we’ve strengthened partnerships with local law enforcement and
first responders across the state.

We’ve kept up the fight to put families first in this year’s Georgia
General Assembly session, which ends tomorrow.

We’ll have more updates to share in the days ahead.

Thank you for your continued support!

John King

Georgia Insurance Commissioner
