John, it's Congressman Hank Johnson.
I've spent years leading the movement to stop the far-right from manipulating our criminal justice system, but from our Supreme Court down to our local elected officials, conservative extremists have been tainting the nonpartisan tradition of judicial institutions that we are entitled to as US citizens.
FIRST they packed the Supreme court with overtly extremist justices during the Trump presidency.
THEN they sowed the seeds of public distrust in the government with the January 6th insurrection and the continuing election-denying narrative.
NOW extremists are attacking our Democracy and pushing for a repeat of 2020, when they captured the majority in the House, and we can't let that happen.
We have to hold these folks accountable, establish a code of ethics, and restore order within our courts. Before I dive into my real-life example, I've got a request: This year I'm running for re-election, and it's not going to be easy – I'm up against a Republican and an Independent, both trying to grow the ultra-conservative majority in the House. Our first big goal of the election year is around the corner, and we still need to raise $11,227 more online to meet our End of Quarter Fundraising Deadline. Can you support our progressive movement for court reform by donating today?? [[link removed]]

While a rematch between Trump and President Biden is coming this November, the far-right has been preparing for it since 2016 – and earlier this month I was able to weigh in directly on some of these unsavory actions.
Special Counsel Robert Hur reported on President Biden's most recent investigation, voluntarily playing into far-right extremist narratives AFTER determining that Biden cooperated fully with the partisan-driven investigation, so I demanded answers.
He divulged that he is a MAGA Republican and holds views just like our former president's, and Republicans in the chamber cheered him on.
John, these politically motivated investigations are hurting our democracy, and if the conservatives in our government won't hold him accountable for his inappropriate, self-interested behavior, it's up to folks like us to take charge.
John, democracy is on the line this election year, and preserving that for hard-working Americans is my top priority. Right now, my seat in the House is being targeted by conservatives to help strengthen the MAGA majority in every branch of our federal government. Could you donate $5, $15, $35 or anything you can before our End of Quarter Fundraising Deadline? [[link removed]]
