Zeldin Cares, Arctix, and the Bruderman Family Foundation wrapped up the inaugural year of the Dakota Project with a successful distribution event in New York City. Last week, we partnered with The Nettwork Inc. and King of Kings Foundation to provide over 200 new cold weather apparel items to community members in need in Jamaica, Queens.

This was the last of MANY amazing distribution events with great, qualified charities across the country. With your help, over the past three months, we shipped over 108,000 new coats, boots, pants, gloves, hats, and more to Americans in need.

Statewide, we worked with organizations on Long Island, New York City, Rochester, and Buffalo. Across the country, thousands of items were sent to groups in Colorado, Montana, Maryland, and Illinois.

Even though this winter’s Dakota Project distro is now over, we are working with the Arctix team to develop a prototype of a purpose-built clothing line made for homeless Americans who are forced to sleep on the streets. Our work is far from over!

Zeldin Cares will continue working hard to get involved with other initiatives to uplift underserved communities in New York.
