Yesterday, oral arguments took place in the U.S. Supreme Court case regarding the abortion pill mifepristone.

Surprisingly, the Supreme Court signaled it is likely to reject this challenge to mifepristone. That’s great news, but honestly, we have to remember that this is the same Court that overturned Roe, gutting access to comprehensive health care for women all around the country.

The simple truth is this: We can’t rely on this cast of judges to make this life-changing decision for our country. The only way we can truly protect a woman’s right to choose is by sending enough Democrats to the Senate this year so we can codify abortion access into law.
