On Sunday at midnight, we’ll reach the first and most important FEC deadline of the year. This is when my fundraising numbers will go public for everyone to see — including extreme Republicans and the media.

Falling short of our goal will send a signal to national Republicans that AL-07 is for the taking.

This FEC filing deadline will set the tone for the rest of this campaign. Extreme national Republicans will do anything to expand their slim majority in the House, including going after my seat if they think there’s a chance to win.
