Friend, I’m going to explain why I’m asking you to contribute to my reelection campaign, and I hope you’ll read this whole email — but if you’re pressed for time,
I’d be grateful if you could chip in $10 or more straight away. >>
Here’s the deal: Races like mine will decide who controls the Senate for at least the next two years, and maybe longer.
Right now, Democrats have a slim majority — I’m talking razor-thin. If the GOP wins just two more seats, they’ll have control of the Senate. That means they can pass a nationwide abortion ban, stop President Biden from confirming any judges, and dash any hope of continuing our progress on the issues that are affecting people’s lives, from the economy to gun violence to climate change.
With this much on the line, we know Republicans aren’t going to spare a single cent in their fight to win back power. They’ve already spent tens of millions of dollars in key races nationwide — and they’re only just getting started.
The only way we can fight against the GOP’s mega-donors and super PACs is with a strong grassroots response — powered by folks like you pitching in $10, $15, or $25 at a time.
Look, I don’t like asking for money — I’d rather focus all my time on listening to my constituents and finding solutions in Washington — but with so much on the line, I don’t have a choice.
Our first quarterly FEC fundraising deadline of 2024 is coming up in less than a week, and what we can raise between now and then will have a major impact on what my campaign is able to accomplish. Not only that, but when the FEC publishes our fundraising report, my eight right-wing extremist opponents will get an up-close look at how successful my campaign is so far — so this is critically important.
So today, my team is setting a goal of raising $50,000 before midnight on March 31. Can you pitch in $25 or more to help my team reach this goal — our most important one of 2024 so far?
