'Do You Think the FDA Is Infallible?': Supreme Court Hears Oral Arguments in Bid to Ban Abortion Pills |
by Ben Johnson |
Bureaucratic regulators recklessly ignored women's safety when they approved the abortion drug mifepristone, violating federal law and conscience rights in the process, pro-life physicians argued at the Supreme Court on Tuesday. The Biden administration responded that justices should not overturn the FDA's approval of the life-taking chemical, because doing so "harms women," "harms the pharmaceutical industry," and would violate left-wing principles of equity. |

GOP Senators the Most Conservative Bunch in Years: Study |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
While it's cold comfort in a chamber controlled by the farthest of leftists, a new study should give conservatives some hope in a Congress that hasn't accomplished all that much for Republicans. There's a major shift underway in the U.S. Senate, CPAC Foundation's Center for Legislative Accountability says, and the GOP may be an election away from reaping the benefits. According to research, this body of Republican senators is far more conservative than their predecessors - and becoming more so every November. |

Christian Leaders Call for Prayer after Baltimore Bridge Collapse |
by S.A. McCarthy |
Baltimore's Catholic archbishop is calling for prayers after the disastrous collapse of the city's Francis Scott Key Bridge. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the Sri Lanka-bound cargo ship "Dali" from Singapore collided with one of the nearly-50-year-old bridge's support pillars, causing the bridge to crumple. The ship reportedly lost power and propulsion at least once and sent out a distress signal. While the crew of the "Dali" were all accounted for and not injured, at least six people are still missing and two have already been rescued. It is not known whether any cars were on the bridge at the time of its collapse. |

Christ Is King and Every Knee Shall Bend |
by S.A. McCarthy |
Almost since the beginning of recorded history, men have sought power: Caesars and shahs, kings and sultans, princes and khans, presidents and prime ministers, emperors and generals. Kingdoms and empires, dynasties and nations have risen and fallen, memorialized in poems and art and the annals of history. Some dominated entire generations, others sprawled across centuries. Only one has stood the test of time, covering every continent and thriving over 2,000 years: Christianity. Over the weekend, this well-chronicled historical fact became a subject of discontent and dispute for the armchair philosophers and amateur pundits of social media - many of them self-professed conservatives and even Christians. |

The Second Chance for Moms Act Could 'Save Countless Women the Heartbreak' of Abortion |
by Sarah Holliday |
Congresswoman Mary Miller is hoping to spare women the regret of chemical abortion. Introduced on Tuesday, her Second Chance for Moms Act would inform women that the abortion drug can be reversed. It would "amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to require a warning label advising that the effects of mifepristone can be counteracted, to amend the Public Health Service Act to establish a hotline to provide information to women seeking to counteract the effects of mifepristone, and for other purposes." |
