The coronavirus is disrupting campaigns across the country, forcing
candidates to rely on more expensive paid grassroots tactics and
stretching budgets with longer primary campaigns. Some elections are
happening as soon as next week, with others next month -- and some being
converted to 100% vote-by-mail.

Trump has attacked House Dems on Twitter since they forced major
improvements in the stimulus bill -- and just yesterday Tweeted that he
wants to take back the House in 2020. Some of our endorsed candidates have
the best opportunities in the country to turn red districts blue in the
general election.

Morgan Harper (OH-03) is running against incumbent Congresswoman Joyce
Beatty, a Democrat who has taken over $2 million in corporate PAC money
and actively opposes Medicare for All and a Green New Deal. Morgan was
born and raised in the district. She lived in a foster home for the first
nine months of her life before she was adopted by her mother, an immigrant
from Trinidad. She earned a law degree at Stanford, and worked at the
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, fighting predatory lenders. She’s
running on a platform of Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, a Jobs
Guarantee, and universal child care. Because of the pandemic, her primary

Kara Eastman (NE-2) is running to take on Republican incumbent, Don Bacon,
who votes in line with Donald Trump 94% of the time and is one of the most
vulnerable Republicans in the country. Kara is a bold progressive hero who
decided to run for Congress on a platform of Medicare for All when her mom
had to pay $2,500 per pill for cancer medication. Kara attended our
national training and, after PCCC members donated nearly $300,000 to her
campaign in 2018, she came 1 point away from defeating Bacon, despite not
receiving any real help from the DCCC. Kara's proving you can run ANYWHERE

Mondaire Jones (NY-17) is running in a crowded primary for an open blue
seat. (The previous Democrat decided to retire.) Mondaire was born in his
district, and was raised in Section 8 housing by a single mom who worked
multiple jobs. He earned a Stanford BA, worked at the Department of
Justice, graduated from Harvard Law School, founded a nonprofit, and then
returned home to work as an attorney. He’s running on a platform that
includes Medicare for All, universal child care, student debt forgiveness,
and the Green New Deal. He’s endorsed by Democracy for America, Collective
PAC, the Victory Fund -- and Elizabeth Warren! The NY primary has been

Candace Valenzuela (TX-24) is running to replace retiring Republican Rep.
Kenny Marchant in TX-24, one of the most flippable races in the country in
2020. Candace grew up in a military family that struggled financially and
was homeless for a time. She went on to become an educator, and then was
the first Latina and African-American woman elected to her local school
board. She is also one of our training alums, and is endorsed by Elizabeth
Warren! After coming in the top two in the Texas primary, Candace advanced
to the party's runoff, which was scheduled for May 26, but has now been

Mike Siegel (TX-10) is running to unseat Republican incumbent Michael
McCaul, who votes with Trump 96.4% of the time. Mike nearly beat McCaul
last cycle — with no institutional support. Mike is a former union
organizer, public school teacher, and an Austin city attorney who took on
Texas Republicans to demand gun reforms. As a civil rights lawyer he also
sued employers on behalf of women who experienced workplace discrimination
and whistleblowers who suffered retaliation. Mike is endorsed by local and
national unions, and by the Sunrise Movement for his commitment to the
Green New Deal. He ran in a competitive primary on Super Tuesday, coming
in first but advancing to a runoff that has now been pushed back to July.

Arati Kreibich (NJ-5) is challenging corporate conservative Dem Josh
Gottheimer in the NJ primary on June 2. Gottheimer organized other
conservative Democrats to kill attempts to end child cages at the border
-- an absurd position for someone representing a suburb of New York. He is
funded by Wall Street and votes their way. Arati won election as a
progressive City Councilwoman, attended our candidate training, and is
fighting for Medicare For All, Green New Deal and challenging big-money

J.D. Scholten (IA-4) is a populist former baseball player who came 3
points from defeating white nationalist Congressman Steve King in 2018!
J.D. says "a Green New Deal to pursue environmental justice, create jobs,
improve infrastructure, and combat climate change must bring rural
communities to the decision-making table and address Big Ag monopolies
that are squeezing out small and family farmers." He tells supporters, "If
you're lucky enough to be in the 1%, this government is working for you"
and that America must move toward a goal of Medicare For All, ensuring
that all Americans have comprehensive, affordable, and quality health care

Dana Balter (NY-24) is a bold progressive champion who is fighting for a
fair shot at success for everyone -- that means getting to Medicare for
All; an economy that works for working families; and a political system
free from the influence of big money. In one of the last two
Republican-held Hillary Clinton districts, Dana is just 2 1/2 points away
from defeating the incumbent who is a rubber stamp for Donald Trump,
making this a top pick-up opportunity in the country. Her primary is on

Georgette Gómez (CA-53) is running for an open blue seat against Democrat
Sara Jacobs, an heiress whose billionaire grandparents bankrolled her
campaign via a richly-funded Super PAC. Georgette is a first-generation
American, the daughter of immigrants. As she says, she had "the privilege
of documents" and her parents did not, and as a result, she saw how much
they struggled against the system. She spent a decade as a community
organizer working on environmental justice, land use decisions and the
impacts of heavy industry, and then became the first queer Latina member
of the San Diego city council, where she chairs the transit system and put
forward a resolution against the border wall. She is endorsed by the
California Democratic Party, the California Federation of Teachers, SEIU,

Jon Hoadley (MI-06) is running against Congressman Fred Upton, former
chair of the Energy Committee and one of the worst Republicans on climate.
Jon is one of the few openly gay members of the Michigan state legislature
and has been a champion for progressive issues throughout his career. He
supports Medicare for All, expanding Social Security, and the Green New
