An incredibly important fundraising goal is quickly approaching. And because you’re one of our most dedicated supporters, we want to take a minute to explain why we can’t afford to come up short.

A few weeks ago, we rolled out a detailed blueprint for how we’re going to build a more representative democracy over the next decade.

What makes that approach unique is that we’re not just waiting for the next redistricting cycle — the fight for fair maps is happening all around us, every day of the year. That’s why we’ve been in the trenches alongside our partners working to secure more victories for our democracy. And our movement has seen some great successes — like the new, fair state legislative maps in Wisconsin, and the newly redrawn Black opportunity congressional districts in Alabama and Louisiana. And that’s just the last few months!

To put it simply, we are walking and chewing gum at the same time. On an issue like redistricting, that is rare and ambitious — to do it successfully, we need critical resources. We’re setting an ambitious goal to raise $50,000 by the end of the quarter — March 31st — to make sure we’re prepared for this year and beyond.
