Just three weeks ago, millions of voters in California cast their ballots — and chose Steve Garvey and me to compete in the U.S. Senate election this November.

Now that we’re on to the general election, the stakes are even higher. But not just for me: there are crucial down-ballot races in California, including several congressional races that could very well decide control of the House, and our prospects for passing more significant legislation next year — just the way we did in President Biden’s first two years with the House and Senate majorities.
