John, abortion
rights are under attack in America each and every day.

Last week, Republicans in Congress announced they're endorsing an
extremist budget plan that would ban abortion nationwide – just a day
after Donald Trump indicated he’d support a ban.

TODAY, the right-wing Supreme Court that overturned Roe v. Wade is
considering an outright BAN on the safe, essential abortion medication
called mifepristone.

The clearest, most definitive way to stop these extreme proposals is for
Congress to codify Roe v. Wade and pass legislation protecting access to
mifepristone. Bernie Sanders and a coalition of Democrats are pushing hard
to protect abortion rights, and we need to let all of our lawmakers know
where we stand.

Now, Republicans in Congress have introduced their plan to build on the
extreme SCOTUS decision on abortion rights. These lawmakers are not just
overstepping; they are sprinting to insert themselves between women and
their healthcare providers, seeking to dictate the terms of intensely
personal medical choices.

If we want to halt the right-wing attempt to roll back abortion rights
even further, we need to take action now to defend reproductive freedoms
in America.
