John, I know we’ve been emailing a lot lately about our end-of-quarter deadline.

So, before I ask you to chip in $5 or more today, I want to take a moment to share five reasons why your support matters so much to us.

1. Mike Johnson. My Republican opponent, Marc Molinaro, played a pivotal role in electing Mike Johnson as Speaker. Now, Johnson has returned the favor by helping Molinaro fundraise, charging up to $100,000 to have lunch with them.


2. Donald Trump. If aligning himself with Mike Johnson wasn’t already terrible enough, Marc Molinaro recently endorsed Donald Trump after spending months refusing to answer questions about who he’ll support for president.


3. Mary Poppins. (Seriously.) Instead of doing his job in Congress, Molinaro has reportedly been pretending to be Mary Poppins on social media – defending himself, attacking me, and even insulting constituents.


4. All eyes are on us. After this deadline, we have to publicly report how much we’ve raised. Everyone – from Democrats to Republicans – will keep a close eye on our campaign to see if we have what it takes to flip this district.


5. We’re completely grassroots. Unlike Molinaro, who relies on party bosses and special interests to back his campaign, our campaign relies solely on grassroots support from everyday folks like you.
