John,
I know this is a tough time for everyone. Some of us are out of work. Others are homebound with disruptions to our lives, plans and goals. But this campaign still has a huge goal we are working towards — restoring representation to this district.
Our team—myself, five staff, and a crew of dedicated volunteers and supporters—is working at full steam. We are implementing new voter contact tools and making thousands of phone calls. Most importantly, we are assisting a range of community groups that are feeding, housing, and helping individuals who have been directly impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
The month of March has felt like a lifetime—the primary vote was March 3rd!—but today is the final day of March, and the end of this public reporting period. Our work may sometimes feel insignificant, but at the core we are fighting for democracy and representation — essential work that takes resources.
If you are able, please contribute to our campaign so we can continue this important work. Our aim is to retire a Member of Congress who cares more about passing blame to China than holding his own president accountable. [[link removed]]
Let’s come out of this crisis with a renewed sense of the changes we must make in this country, and get closer to the ideal of liberty and justice for all.
Fighting for you,
Mike Siegel
