One of the biggest accomplishments of our Green New Deal movement has been securing funding for the American Climate Corps, a program that will put tens of thousands of young people to work on clean energy and climate resiliency projects across the country.
We set the agenda, we fought for this important program, and we won.
But now that President Biden is carrying out this crucial step forward on climate policy, writers at Fox News are calling it “devastating” and Republicans are vowing to kill it. We can’t let them.
This isn’t the first time that Fox News has attacked Ed or the climate legislation he champions for our movement.
Let’s just be honest — we all know that Fox News tows the line for Big Oil and it’s cronies in Congress, who don’t mind seeing our planet burn while they line their pockets. That’s why today we need your help to push back and defend the progress of the Green New Deal movement.
March 31st is an FEC deadline, which means that at the end of this week we’re legally required to report our fundraising numbers to the FEC. Many will be watching to see how much grassroots support we have.
