John, in a moment, I'm going to ask for your support as we near our first end-of-quarter deadline. First, I wanted to catch you up on what I've been working on and why this deadline is so important.

In 2020, my friend President Joe Biden embarked on a mission to restore the soul of our nation. It's been my honor to help Joe campaign for a second term and a chance to finish the job as co-chair for his reelection campaign. Just recently, Joe officially reached the number of delegates he needed to become the Democratic presidential nominee.

I'm proud of the work we've done so far in the election cycle; but now, our big focus is beating Donald Trump. From promising a bloodbath if he is not elected, to calling immigrants animals, and dealing with his numerous criminal charges and lawsuits — Trump has made it clear that he intends to keep sowing chaos and division across the country.

We have the momentum and a great record of wins to back us up in November. Our first step is to have a strong performance in the first FEC deadline of the year.

At the end of March, our fundraising books will become public, giving us a great opportunity to show the nation that we're ready to reelect President Biden and support him with a strong Senate majority. That's why I'm asking:
