DWC hosts quarterly meetings

DWC will host quarterly meetings for insurance carriers and health care providers to discuss issues in the Texas workers' compensation system. The meetings will be held on Zoom at the following dates and times:


* *Insurance carrier* meeting: Thursday, April 25 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
* *Health care provider* meeting: Friday, April 26 from 12 to 1:30 p.m.

Discount interest rate set

DWC determined any interest or discount provided for in the Texas Labor Code will be 8.55%. The rate is effective April 1, 2024, through June 30, 2024.
