Yesterday was Holi, and as one of very few South Asian American members of Congress, I wanted to take a moment to wish a happy Holi to all who celebrate!

Holi is a special and sacred time of year, from the Festival of Colors to the celebration of Spring and new growth. Now more than ever, we all could stand to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil as we welcome spring. 

I encourage all of us to continue uplifting each other and come together as a community to amplify love and gratitude. I am honored to work alongside you all to usher in a just, equal, and inclusive future for us all.
