Former Wall Street Journal journalist Leslie T. Chang discusses her new book, Egyptian Made: Women, Work, and the Promise of Liberation , which centers around three Egyptian women who work in the textile and garment manufacturing industry. The world’s water is in trouble. Freshwater pollution, climate change, population growth, and increasing demand, threatens water quality and availability. These challenges are compounded by conflict, especially where water is weaponized or the resource itself is a casualty. To better understand what this means for those living in conflict, we took a closer look at water’s weaponization in Ukraine, Libya, and Yemen.
