John,
“Disinformation about elections is once again coursing through news feeds…” the New York Times explains in a newly released (and disturbing) in-depth article about the spread of disinformation.
Disinformation will be one of the biggest challenges of this election cycle.
This is the intentional dissemination of knowingly false information about our elections. I’ve been talking nationally about this topic and preparing our state to combat any misinformation wherever it pops up, but I need your help.
Our end of quarter fundraising deadline is on March 31st and we need to raise another $17,500 before then. This is a critical moment in the election cycle and your support today will help me to battle disinformation. John, will you chip in $5 or whatever you can right now?

The article goes on to explain how and why disinformation has surged and gained a foothold.
- Social media platforms now provide fewer checks against the intentional spread of lies about elections.
- Disinformation activists have built legal funds, Super PACs, and an infrastructure to sustain their lies.
- Disinformation has a platform in Congress. Some of our highest elected officials are actively spreading disinformation.
This end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is when disinformation activists watch and see if their messaging is working and if we’re ready to respond. That’s why I need your support to raise another $17,500 before March 31st.
I’m leading with the truth, but I need your help to spread this messaging far and wide. Will you please chip in $5 or whatever you can before our deadline? Chip in here →
