I’m writing with a big ask-- It's the last week of our Spring fundraising drive --will you help sustain our decades of comprehensive reporting on housing and homelessness?

Every day, our editorial staff ([link removed]) — Emma, Tatyana, Mariana, Daniel, Adi, Chris and myself — cover local, underreported stories with integrity and tenacity. City Limits' reporting is essential to a better-informed community and a healthy democracy, including:
• City Within a City: Covering NYCHA ([link removed]) bridges the news and information gap in the nation’s largest public housing community, empowering NYCHA residents to shape the future of their homes.
• City on the Edge ([link removed]) explores climate change and the challenges New York faces at the intersection of housing and the environment, and highlights opportunities to be better prepared for the future.
• Our Homeless Shelter Tracker ([link removed]) helped highlight the inadequacies in how the city was measuring its unhoused population, culminating with the passage of legislation that now requires more comprehensive reporting ([link removed]) by the agencies sheltering New Yorkers.
