The recently released budget backed by a supermajority of House Republicans would cut $1.5 TRILLION from Social Security, and an additional trillion from Medicare. It would slash taxes for millionaires and billionaires. And after taking campaign cash from a radical anti-government group, Donald Trump has stopped pretending to support Social Security and Medicare and offered to cut them “a lot.”

President Biden’s budget, meanwhile, calls for protecting and expanding Social Security by taxing billionaires. The vast majority of Democrats in Congress have backed either the Social Security 2100 Act in the House or the Social Security Expansion Act in the Senate.
