John,
We're listening in real time this morning as the radically right-wing Supreme Court begins hearing a case that could decimate access to medication abortion nationwide.
As anti-choice extremists pass abortion bans in the states and push for a 15 week national ban, they're also using the courts to push medication abortion—the most common abortion option earlier in pregnancy—further out of reach. Make no mistake: this case is part of a calculated effort to make ALL abortions either illegal or inaccessible.
In fighting back, we must also take a whole-of-government approach, which is why we're laser focused on electing pro-choice candidates to EVERY office, from state Supreme Courts to city councils to state legislatures.
Hearing the arguments before the Court today is a stark reminder that the fall of Roe was the beginning, not the end. MAGA extremists will not stop at anything short of total control over our bodies, families, and most intimate healthcare decisions.
Now is when your dollar goes the furthest, and a contribution of any amount helps us fight extremism from our city halls to our courtrooms and statehouses.
Thank you so much for being with us in this fight.
In gratitude,
Maris Nyhart

John,
Tomorrow, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a case that could effectively ban the use of telehealth to access medication abortion nationwide.
Access to safe and effective medication abortion is key to our freedom to make our own decisions about our bodies and our healthcare—and this case threatens to undermine that basic right.
And that’s not all—another case in the SCOTUS pipeline threatens to push abortion further out of reach, all part of MAGA extremists’ broader plan to ban abortion nationwide.
Our healthcare should be rooted in science, not politics, and we should be able to make personal healthcare decisions without government interference. Will you take two minutes to let us know if you agree?
Mifepristone, first approved by the FDA in 2000, is safe, effective, and now used in more than half of all abortions. Make no mistake: this is a cynical, backdoor effort to further destroy abortion access by completely ignoring medical and scientific evidence.
If you agree that our personal healthcare decisions should be made in doctors offices and the comfort of our homes—not in courtrooms and legislative chambers—sign on and let us know.
In solidarity,
The Vote Pro-Choice Team
