Dear Members of the ISI Family,

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the loss of our dear friend and esteemed supporter, Linda L. Bean. Over the weekend, we received the heart-wrenching news of Linda's passing. Linda was a remarkable figure whose generosity, dedication, and profound love for our nation left an indelible mark on all of us.

Linda was a beacon of light—a devoted mother, a faithful Christian, an accomplished businesswoman, and a lover of all things good, true, and beautiful. Her impact on the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and the broader community was immense and will be long remembered.

Reflecting on Linda's lasting legacy, Paul Rhine, our COO and long time acquaintance of Linda, remarked, “Though our hearts are heavy at Linda's passing, her vision, strength of will, and love for Country live on in the building which so proudly bears her name. ISI's Linda L. Bean Center welcomes generations of future conservative leaders to walk on Maine hardwood floors and admire curated works of the Brandywine School artists while making lasting friendships and becoming steeped in America's founding principles.”

Linda's passion for our country's founding principles and her commitment to developing future leaders was evident in all her endeavors. Her generosity has made an enduring impact on our institute, providing a space where ideas can flourish and minds can grow.

Many of us had the joy of sharing the gala last September with Linda. It was a high point in her life, exemplifying her dedication to the causes she held dear.
