THE FEDERALIST — On the four-year anniversary of Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s stay-at-home orders, state Attorney General Todd Rokita gathered with Hoosiers who had fought the mandates and told them something most of them knew already: Indiana’s Covid-19 data was wrong. The stats that Holcomb and his state health commissioner Kris Box used to justify the lockdowns inflated death counts and positivity rates, Rokita told his audience. Bad data like those led to bad decisions.... (more)

WORLDNETDAILY — ABC News host Jonathan Karl pressed Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Sunday on why he said it would be an "honor" to serve as presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump's vice president, bluntly asking, "really?" "There was some reporting this week, that you are possibly under consideration to be Donald Trump’s running mate. I don’t put a lot of stock in this reporting right now, we’re early, but you said it would be an honor to be offered a spot on this ticket. Really?" Karl asked.... (more)

A facility where unborn babies are systematically killed
JERRY NEWCOMBE — For more than 50 years, the left has promoted abortion in America. But last week we saw something new in this battle. For the first time ever, a vice president actually visited a facility where unborn babies are systematically killed when Kamala Harris toured a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in St. Paul, Minnesota. She called laws restricting abortion in other states “immoral.” She also said that abortion and religious commitment were compatible, not incompatible: "One does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree that the government should not be telling women what to do with their body."... NEW YORK POST — There is good reason to conclude, as the state Court of Appeals did Tuesday, that New York City’s property-tax system leads to disproportionately high tax bills for minority homeowners. But those high taxes aren’t the result of discrimination; they’re just one example of a dysfunctional tax-assessment system that burdens homeowners and discourages new housing construction — which both progressive city Comptroller Brad Lander and Republican City Councilman Joe Borelli, strange bedfellows indeed, agree needs top-to-bottom revision.... DEBRA HEINE — Hunter Biden’s former business associate Tony Bobulinski went scorched earth on Joe Biden, his son Hunter, his brother Jim, the regime media and House Democrats during the Republican-led House Oversight Committee’s impeachment hearing on Capitol Hill Wednesday. In his brutally frank opening statement, Bobulinski also accused Hunter and Jim Biden of telling “flat-out lies” when they were interviewed by the Committee last month, and urged Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) to hold them accountable for their perjury.... Mac Warner: 'The election was stolen by the CIA'
THE FEDERALIST — Ensuring the integrity of West Virginia’s elections is part of Mac Warner’s job, but the secretary of state has been just as zealous about protecting national elections from unfair meddling. Now in his second term as the Mountain State’s top election official, Warner has cleaned up West Virginia’s bloated voter rolls and severed the state’s ties with leftist-linked voter roll groups. Even political opponents have credited Warner, who is running for governor as a Republican, with being “vigilant” to make West Virginia elections “very secure.”... (more)

JERRY NEWCOMBE — It seems like everyone is talking these days about Rob Reiner’s hit-job movie against the religious right, "God & Country." It makes “Christian nationalists” into the bogeyman. Although I travel in the circles of Christian conservatives, I have yet to meet anyone who has actually seen Reiner’s movie. But I have seen a trailer for it. JOHN DANIEL DAVIDSON OF THE FEDERALIST — Hot on the heels of a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling on Monday that states have “no power” to remove former President Donald Trump from the ballot, Democrats and their lackeys in the corporate press denounced the court for supposedly meddling or interfering in the election. “Not since Bush v. Gore have we seen a court that’s had this many opportunities to interfere in the election,” said former Rep. Donna Edwards on MSNBC. NBC News’ Ken Dilanian mused that the 9-0 ruling would “be seen by many people as the court essentially interfering in some sense in the election.”... (more)
