While a primary victory for Biden may seem like a foregone conclusion, high voter turnout is essential to that win–and to a well functioning democracy. So why vote in the primaries?
-
A vote for Biden in the primary is a vote of confidence in this administration. In perhaps the most consequential race of our lifetime, we must show strong, unified support as a party. Or we will end up with Trump again.
-
Primaries are critical to building the final party platform in November, and high voter turnout helps show the party what is most important to its constituents.
-
Unfortunately, fewer people vote in primaries, which means every vote carries more weight.
-
High participation in the early voting process during the primary will allow our elections officials run smoothly come the general election early voting process.
It is more important than ever that we exercise our most valuable right–the right to cast our vote, share our voice, and have a say in who represents us and our values.
You can make a difference by casting your ballot today.
