Friend— Right now, dogs are languishing outside through the long, hot days with no shelter from the relentless sun. For some lonely and vulnerable "backyard dogs," the summer heat can even be deadly. PETA fieldworkers need to provide more doghouses this summer, but this work takes significant resources. Friend, we have yet to hear from you this summer. Will you sponsor a doghouse today? Your donation could help save a dog's life. Every dog forced to live outside without shelter, confined to a pen or trapped on a chain, is another dog at risk of dehydration, heatstroke—or worse. Every time PETA fieldworkers meet dogs who are kept outside day in and day out, they do all that they can to persuade the owners to allow the pups to live safely indoors. But if the owners refuse to do so, a sturdy PETA doghouse might be the only way for dogs to escape summer's heat. Over 2,000 PETA supporters have sponsored doghouses this summer—and we need others to help us do even more. Will you sponsor a doghouse today?
