Ronna McDaniel is an election denier. The former Republican National Committee chair has repeatedly promoted the Big Lie of voter fraud in the 2020 election and still to this day has refused to acknowledge President Biden was fairly elected.

She’s attacked the networks and its journalists, including specifically MSNBC, many times repeatedly calling it fake news.” And still, NBC has decided to elevate her voice as an on air contributor to be used across all its channels and shows.

In fact, she debuted yesterday on Meet the Press.

News networks shouldn’t even allow election deniers on the air. Now, NBC has hired one. Demand they fix this. Tell NBCUniversal Chairman Cesar Conde and parent company Comcast President Michael Cavanagh to fire Ronna McDaniel now.

If you can’t tell the truth from fiction, you shouldn’t be a paid contributor at NBC news.

In an interview with CNN’s Chris Wallace, Ronna McDaniel actually said:

“I think there were lots of problems with 2020. Ultimately he won the election, but there were lots of problems with the 2020 election. I don’t think he won it fair. I don’t. I’m not going to say that.”

As the RNC chair, McDaniel, sent out top spokespeople to repeatedly spread the Big Lie since Election Day. On her watch, the RNC tweeted out video clips too, including of lawyer Sidney Powell claiming Trump “won in a landslide” and alleging a global conspiracy to rig the election against him.

You know Sidney Powell. She’s one of the lawyers who pleaded guilty in the Georgia election interference case. And now, NBC has hired Ronna McDaniel to give us honest reporting on their channel?

NBC has made a big mistake and the consequences are terrible for democracy.

Election denialism is one of the reasons our democracy is teetering on the edge as we get closer and closer to the 2024 general election. Tell NBC to reverse course and fire Ronna McDaniel now.
