The Federal Election Commission (FEC) oversees the money coming into and out of all federal campaigns and PACs.

On the last day of the fiscal quarter, we’re required to file a record of all financial data with the FEC. This is that big FEC filing deadline we’re always going on about.

Our report includes the amount, origin, and type of all contributions; a record of all expenditures; and the total amount raised and spent during the quarter.

Once the report goes public, our cards are on the table. A bad quarter could seriously damage Democratic enthusiasm and embolden the far right.
