Team,
I know there's probably a lot on your mind these days -- there's a lot on mine.
But I'm reaching out one last time before we close the books on our first official fundraising report of the year with a request.
If you're able, will you chip in anything you can to help us show the world this campaign is ready to keep fighting -- before and after this crisis is over?
This won't just be the first fundraising report we send to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) for 2020 -- it'll be the only one we send until June.
Anyone who misses tonight's deadline won't be a part of that official record until three months from now. Meanwhile, our opposition will say we don't have what it takes and try to claim the real momentum is on their side.
But it's not just the report that matters -- we also need to make sure that we can continue building a robust team of paid staff and volunteers, even in a time of social distancing. That takes resources and financial support.
If your situation won't allow you to donate right now, we understand. We need you to do whatever you must to stay in this fight for the long haul. But if you have the flexibility to donate, your contribution will have an especially big impact tonight.
Will you add your contribution to our first official fundraising report of the year? Chip in now, before the midnight FEC deadline.
Thank you for all that you do. In solidarity,
Emily Laskar
