I got an email from my team earlier this afternoon with a fundraising update on tonight's FEC deadline. With everything that’s been happening over the last couple weeks, fundraising and campaigning have been the last things on my mind.

So when I opened their email and saw how many of you donated this month -- I was truly moved.

It’s easy to get caught up in the urgency of FEC deadlines, John. The numbers we report have an enormous impact on the longer term viability of our campaign and the way we make strategic decisions. They can be very stressful for me and my staff -- but right now I just want to focus on this extraordinary team.
