Friend — At Earthjustice we often say that when we take on legal fights we are in them for the long haul. Our work to ban the brain-harming pesticide, chlorpyrifos, is a perfect example.

I’m following up on the email I wrote to you last month about the Trump administration’s decision to keep using this toxic pesticide on our food, even though it's known to harm children’s brains and endanger farmworkers. In that email I told you we would take the administration to court — and this week, we did.

The EPA has repeatedly found chlorpyrifos unsafe, especially for children, yet time and again refuses to take any action to protect our kids. But Earthjustice and our clients won’t stand for this. The science and the law call for a chlorpyrifos ban. We are taking the Trump administration to court for its defiance of the law and science.

We’ve been fighting the reckless use of pesticides for decades, and thanks to the support of people like you, we’re not stopping now.
