Hey --

Did you see our note from Saturday? We just wanted to make sure you knew that the CARES Act was passed and signed into law. This marks Congress' third piece of coronavirus legislation -- and Donald is already hard at work on a fourth bill this week.

This is an incredibly difficult time for our nation -- but the CARES Act will provide the health care resources and economic relief that our workers and small businesses desperately need right now. If you support Congress' families-first approach to addressing this public health crisis, add your name today >> [link removed]

We'll continue to keep you in-the-loop with what Donald is doing to keep South Jersey safe.

Friends --

It's critical we all continue to work together to save lives. Confronting a public health crisis of this scale is certainly daunting, but we'll be able to do it successfully if we each continue to do our part to help put the brakes on this outbreak.

Donald has been fighting to make sure that South Jersey and working people are not left behind as Congress continues to address the coronavirus crisis. That's why he's proud to have helped pass Congress' third piece of bipartisan legislation that will tackle the unique challenges our nation is currently facing: the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

This ambitious and unprecedented (but absolutely critical) bill will:

- Put much-needed cash directly into the pockets of American workers;

- Expand unemployment benefits and ensure part-time, self-employed, and those who rely on the gig economy can access this support as well;

- Boost food assistance programs that will keep people fed, temporarily stop evictions and foreclosures, and suspend student loan payments;

- Create additional emergency loan assistance for small businesses; and

- Make sure health care providers have the funds and supplies they need right now.

We need to let Congress know we support this workers-first approach so we continue to see the kind of bold, comprehensive legislation we need to address the coronavirus pandemic head-on.

Thank you,

Congressman Norcross HQ
