Despite his multiple criminal indictments, pledging to be a dictator on “day one” of his second term, and promising to institute a national abortion ban, it’s going to be an extremely tough fight to stop Donald Trump from flipping Minnesota red in November and ending up in the White House.

Four consecutive polls have shown Trump and President Biden running dead even in Minnesota, and just this month, Trump himself called into a local right-wing radio station and pledged to make a “heavy move” to put himself over the edge and win.

Governor Walz is doing everything he can to sound the alarm, including leading the Democratic Governors Association in the national fight against Trumpism, but none of his work is possible unless we’re there to support him. That’s why we were hoping to catch you this afternoon.

Our first end-of-quarter deadline of the year is on Sunday, and after a few slow weeks, we’ve fallen behind our budget target. To catch up, we need to raise $31,430 over the next six days.
