Over the weekend, we celebrated 14 years since President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law! And 14 years of Republicans trying to repeal it.
But the Republican rhetoric doesn’t meet the reality–the reality that the majority of Americans support the life-changing and life-saving improvements made to healthcare through the ACA:

Americans want to continue to see investments and improvements in our healthcare system. We shouldn’t have to worry that a health crisis could bankrupt our families.
This is why your Connecticut Democrats are working to ensure we have the most robust and affordable healthcare system in the country.
Governor Ned Lamont and our state Democrats have already made a significant impact in our lives by announcing medical debt forgiveness for hundreds of thousands of residents, the codification of reproductive rights in the state constitution, and most recently, introducing a bill expanding paid sick leave.
