John,
On a daily basis, I am in touch with other campaign managers across the country. We encourage each other, share information on what’s working, tips, and advice. It’s been enormously helpful in these uncertain times.
We’re running campaigns in the midst of a pandemic. No one has done this before.
This campaign, just like American families across the country, has made serious changes to the way we operate. We’ve closed our office, we’re working remotely, we’re organizing online, and we’re keeping each other’s spirits high in this moment of uncertainty.
Despite all of the changes we’ve made, our goal remains unchanged: we must win in November.
Our grassroots supporters have become even more critical over these past several weeks. We have canceled all of our in-person fundraising events. Raising small-dollar donations has always been a major part of our campaign, and now it matters more than ever.
Our country is facing many challenges right now. In addition to the threat of COVID-19, we are experiencing an economic downturn. We understand that not everyone can afford to do the things they used to do or want to do.
With our quarterly fundraising deadline approaching in a few hours, if you can make a small contribution, it would be enormously appreciated.

Thank you for considering this request.
Please stay safe during this challenging time,
Bettina
