Raising our voices together makes a difference. I’ve believed that my
whole life, and I’ve seen it proven true. This month, we celebrate C.J.
Rice being declared innocent after years of advocacy, including a crucial
role played by Dream.Org members like you. Whenever we get discouraged —
like when climate funding comes under threat — we should remember the
difference we’ve already made together, and look around at all the amazing

A time to celebrate — You have helped to change a life! C.J. Rice has been
declared innocent and is now free from prison! 20,000 Dream.Org members
signed a petition demanding C.J.'s release and, earlier this month, the
Philadelphia DA dropped all charges. He is now free. For more than 1 ½
years Dream.Org has been working with CNN’s Jake Tapper and his father to
raise awareness about his heart wrenching story. Today we can celebrate
C.J.’s freedom and help him rebuild his life by donating to his GoFundMe.

House Republicans are attempting to eliminate one of the most crucial
pollution-fighting initiatives of the Biden Administration. The Greenhouse
Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) is a program that will unlock more than $250
billion in climate financing over 10 years. It directly benefits
disadvantaged communities by helping fund green projects — and creating
good green jobs while improving public health. Getting rid of these funds
strips these vital resources from our communities and delivers them to the
oil and gas industry — the very culprits of our pollution woes!
