Here at Heritage Action, we have joined together with states across the country to take down this reckless progressive agenda.
LAST WEEK’S VICTORY SCORECARD:
- The Oklahoma House passed bills to protect the economy and personal savings from the harmful impacts of ESG criteria by requiring asset managers to uphold their fiduciary responsibilities and prohibiting state contracts with certain companies that engage in political boycotts.
- The Georgia Senate passed a bill to prohibit asset managers from making investments based on (ESG) requirements.
- South Carolina enacted a bill to protect the state’s pensions from arbitrary ESG considerations.
BONUS BREAKING NEWS:
Texas is joining Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and more than 15 other states in prioritizing Americans’ fiscal priorities over the Left’s political agenda with this historic move… According to FOX:
“The action also represents by far the largest divestment of its kind since Republican-led states began terminating their financial ties to BlackRock and other financial institutions over their pursuit of so-called environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards.”
