Building Hopes and Dreams in Bootle

Jo, a community development worker at St Leonards' Youth and Community Centre in Bootle, shares her story about how she has empowered herself and others to challenge social issues and create change in Bootle.

Jo says "What drives me is people and community. I am passionate about equality and want to see that here in Linacre ward."

Jo is helping to drive transformation in St Leonards by linking up with other like-minded hopers and changers. She joined a recent Speaking Truth To Power training session and is now working to build local people power in Bootle, towards a better future.
