Hi, John — yes, it’s me, Mary, again! And yes, this is an “ask.” Today again I want to speak from my heart. While there are many special things about Angus that I could share – and that could take all day – I’ll keep it brief. One of his best qualities is the fact that he doesn’t shirk from household chores.

Take a peek at this adorable photo of Angus vacuuming with our grandson during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.

Yes, Angus and I have been married for forty years. I’ve watched him juggle his duties as an energy developer, Governor, visiting college professor, and most recently, U.S. Senator, all with deep thought and patience. He brings the same commitment he has shown our family to his efforts in Washington advocating for the people of Maine in the U.S. Senate.

I love to watch him greet visitors on the street with the same warmth and enthusiasm he greets officials in Washington. Building bridges and developing allies to find bipartisan solutions is at his core every day in D.C. He really does it all.

You may, like me, be troubled daily by partisanship and extremism. Now more than ever, we need Angus’ reasonable and principled voice. As you know, Angus is up for re-election. Please make a donation ahead of the March 31 End-of-Quarter Fundraising Deadline? Any amount counts . And know that your support is deeply appreciated. [[link removed]]

Warmly,
Mary

There is nothing more important to Senator King than doing right by the people of Maine. This means fighting on their behalf for the issues that matter most, whether that’s health care, national security, veterans, education, economic certainty, the environment or job creation. Throughout his decades of public service, he has worked tirelessly to build relationships and improve opportunities for all Maine people, from Kittery to Fort Kent.
