At a time when so many are facing hardship and uncertainty, we understand if you cannot afford to donate right now. We are just grateful to be in this fight with you. Senator Markey and all of us on Team Markey are here for you -- fighting for you. We will get through this together.

Friends -

We wanted to send you a quick update on the state of our race before our FEC deadline in just a few hours.

When Joe Kennedy announced that he was challenging Ed, the early polls showed us down by as much as 14 points. The media and political pundits declared us the underdogs.

Joe Kennedy wasn't counting on us to be up for the fight. But Ed doesn't back down from a tough fight. No, he works even harder to make sure our movement wins.

That's what he does in the Senate fighting for working families and our progressive agenda, and it's what he's doing in this race.

Now, three consecutive polls have showed that this race is statistically tied, and just last night, Kennedy's campaign agreed that Ed should be declared the winner of the convention and receive the Massachusetts Democratic Party's endorsement. We had won 70% of delegates at the local grassroots caucuses -- an insurmountable lead that they could not deny.

Our plan is working. So we cannot stop now. Will you help us keep fighting?

Make a $3 donation before midnight to help us show that the grassroots enthusiasm is behind Ed. Every dollar will go directly to our effort to grow our movement and keep Ed in the Senate fighting for all of us.

We're neck and neck, and we need your help to keep up this incredible momentum. Thank you in advance for chipping in.
