Friend,

I had to follow up on my last email about protecting animals from cruel experiments—it’ll just take two minutes. Will you make a gift of $20 or more to the Humane Society Legislative Fund now to help us win the fight to end animal testing and protect all vulnerable animals? ([link removed])

HSLF is counting on your support to help us keep fighting for urgent policy changes at the Food and Drug Administration and to advance crucial legislation like the Humane Cosmetics Act. Both these battles are essential to ending the senseless torment of millions of animals used in animal testing. But this is just a small part of our work to protect all animals from harm. That’s why we’ve set an ambitious end-of-quarter goal to raise $30,000 before March 31—will you help us reach it?

Please, make a gift today to help HSLF continue our lifesaving work! ([link removed])

END ANIMAL TESTING. SAVE LIVES. END-OF-QUARTER $30,000 GOAL. DEADLINE: MARCH 31 ([link removed])

Friend,

Right now, millions of animals are suffering in labs and they need us to speak up for them because they can’t fight for themselves. They can’t refuse potentially toxic drugs being pumped into their bodies or chemicals being smeared onto their sensitive skin and eyes. But we’re working tirelessly to end animal testing in the U.S. and protect vulnerable dogs, rabbits, monkeys, mice and other animals from needless suffering.

We’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $30,000 before our end-of-quarter deadline on March 31. Will you make a gift of $20 or more to the Humane Society Legislative Fund now to help continue our lifesaving work and pass crucial animal protection legislation nationwide? ([link removed])

Here’s the good news, friend: Right now, 45 countries and 12 states ban or limit cosmetic animal testing. Researchers have developed non-animal methods to measure drug toxicity in order to achieve safe and effective treatments for humans. That’s real and measurable progress to save the lives of countless animals—and create better health outcomes for communities in the process. It’s a win-win.

But the bad news is that the U.S. still doesn’t have a ban on cosmetic animal testing, and not enough legislators support the Humane Cosmetics Act. What’s more, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is still prioritizing animal trials in its drug approval process, encouraging companies to use these cruel and ineffective methods!

It doesn’t have to be this way. We can make policies that protect animals a reality in the U.S. and create a more caring and humane world. Please, make your gift to HSLF today! ([link removed])

Thank you for your urgent support,
