We want to take a moment to THANK YOU, the ASPCA community, for your continued support and compassion for animals in need.
Currently, 120 mistreated dogs and puppies are in our care at an emergency shelter after being removed from a breeding operation in Union County, Florida, over a week ago. The dogs—including Great Danes, French and English Bulldogs, and Chinese Cresteds—were seized from the property of a breeder after they were observed living in extremely unsanitary conditions. Sadly, many of the dogs appeared to be underweight and some had untreated medical conditions.
Immediately following their rescue, multiple dogs needed emergency medical care for severe wounds and other trauma-related injuries. Many of these animals will also need ongoing care for eye, skin and other medical conditions. |
