Chairman J.R. Romano provides commentary on the top political stories that happened this week both nationally and locally in Connecticut.

.) More details revealed into the corruption scandal at the Connecticut Port Authority.  It's now been confirmed that Scott Bates approved the use of taxpayer money to buy artwork made by the daughter of Democrat First Selectwoman of Old Lyme, Bonnie Reemsnyder.  Who is Scott Bates? Scott Bates is the current serving Deputy Secretary of the State under Denise Merrill.  Secretary of the State Denise Merrill and Gov. Ned Lamont have not said anything about Bates.

.) Fairfield town employees get arrested for an alleged scheme to dump toxic waste on town property in Fairfield, CT.  What is Democrat First Selectman Michael Tetreau doing about it?

.) Republican leaders in towns and cities throughout Connecticut are leading.

.) Remember when Hartford Democrat Mayor Luke Bronin went around to surrounding towns with hat in hand asking for a bailout?

.) "I cannot stressed to you enough, why it matters to be involved" - Chairman Romano

.) Hardcore leftists "get hostile" towards Democrats that don't support impeachment.

.) State Rep. David Rutigliano (R- Trumbull) discusses the bipartisan legislation that he worked on that would have helped restaurants in Connecticut, that Governor Ned Lamont vetoed.
