It's now been confirmed that Scott Bates approved the use of taxpayer money to buy artwork made by the daughter of Democrat First Selectwoman of Old Lyme, Bonnie Reemsnyder. Who is Scott Bates? Scott Bates is the current serving Deputy Secretary of the State under Denise Merrill. Secretary of the State Denise Merrill and Gov. Ned Lamont have not said anything about Bates.
