John, our first
big primary showdown with AIPAC is in less than a month as Summer Lee runs
for re-election to Congress in PA-12.

AIPAC is targeting Lee and other pro-Peace progressives with $100,000,000
in right-wing attack ads because AIPAC won’t accept ANY criticism of
Netanyahu’s horrific war in Gaza.

AIPAC has been targeting Lee since she first ran for Congress in 2022.
AIPAC spent over $2 million against Lee — and it had a big impact: Summer
Lee was up by 25% against her opponent in the 2022 Democratic primary, but
her lead was nearly erased as AIPAC spent big money against her. Lee won
that primary by less than a percentage point.

AIPAC even spent big against Lee once she was the Democratic nominee,
preferring the Republican in the race to a progressive. The pro-Israel
lobby wanted to stop Lee no matter what because of her support for
Palestinian human rights. As Bernie says, once a candidate speaks out for
the dignity of the Palestinian people, they end up on AIPAC’s “hitlist.”

This is what Summer Lee was up against in 2022, and the story hasn’t
changed in 2024: an “onslaught of AIPAC spending.”

This year, AIPAC pledged to spend $100 million to defeat progressives
(while supporting corporate Democrats, far right Republicans, and
insurrectionists). It’s going to require some serious grassroots
organizing in order to defend progressives. That’s why Our Revolution has
