As our community, commonwealth, and country face this unprecedented public health emergency, steady leadership and a deep sense of empathy have never mattered more. Almost three weeks ago, Chrissy shifted her entire congressional team to teleworking and ceased almost all of her reelection efforts. She has been focused on:
|
- Rushing help to individuals and families so they can survive in this new environment
- Helping our state and local governments respond
- Getting health care workers and all first responders the supplies they need
- Helping constituents stranded overseas get home
- Educating the community on resources and facts
- Advocating for relief for small businesses and their employees who are the backbone of our economy

The campaign, too, is focused on helping. We are setting up an operation for our volunteers to call older members of our community to see how they're doing and make sure they're aware of the services available to them. And maybe trade a tip or two on combating cabin fever. :-)
|
|
What's more important now is that we stay safe, help each other, and emerge on the other side of this.
|
|
From the campaign perspective, we have dramatically scaled back our operation. The November election is still approaching, however, and our FEC-tracked quarter ends at midnight. If you're financially able to spare it, we could use the help. Maintaining a Democratic majority in the U.S. House has never been more important.
